BATHROOM CERAMIC TILES AND GROUT CLEANING IN RADCLIFFE, BURY, MANCHESTER, M26

This time we had an elderly customer as our client, their grandson had found us from google search. When we went down to Radcliffe , Bury for our free home survey service, we noticed it was pretty clear that grout restoration needed completing. So we explained all the working process to our customer and we got booked in to complete the bathroom ceramic tiles and grout restoring immediately. We were happy to help such a lovely couple with our sevices and fortunately we had a timesloth free the same week.

On arrival I started with showerarea discoloured and mouldy grout and tiles cleaning. For grout cleaning I used acid based Grout Colourant Pre-Treat Cleaner. The Pre-Treat Cleaner is an effective ready-to-use cleaner designed to lightly etch and also remove dirt, soil, soap scum and hard water deposits from grout joints. The product worked well in this occasion. I sprayed it on grout and left it to dwell for about a minute or so and then scrubbed with our special shaped grout brush. After cleaning the walls I rinsed the walls with clean water to get all remaining chemicals off.
When shower area walls and grout were finally clean, I dried the walls and moved onto my least favourite part - silicone sealant removal.

For silicone sealant removal I used a sharp knife and a glass scraper. When pulling away the silicone I realised it was damp and quite rotten between tiles and bath edge. So I had to empty it out from anything damp and dry it for long time with my heatgun.
After removing all silicone and drying out the damp areas I moved onto grout colouring. For grout colouring I used our epoxy based grout colourant. It has a dual purpous as it rejuvenates and seals the grout. Grout colourant gets applied on with special cut toothbrush and anything left on tiles gets wiped off after application.
Done with grout colouring I moved onto applying the silicone sealant to all around bath. I always use long lasting highest quality mould resistant silicone sealant. I followed the sealant process up with filling in the cracks and holes in grout with flexible waterproof filler.
