Sometimes, even small mistakes during tiling can create major problems. One of our clients recently experienced this when their tiler failed to seal the tiles and did not properly clean off excess grout and adhesive. The result was a persistent grout haze that seemed impossible to remove.

After consulting two professional cleaning companies, the client was told the haze had seeped into the porous tiles, making it essentially permanent. Desperate to save their tiles, their builder even tried brick acid, which unfortunately damaged the tiles further.

With the prospect of ripping out the tiles and spending thousands looming, the client reached out to Quality Tile Care as a last resort.

Professional Tile and Stone Cleaning to the Rescue

Our expert Henri visited the site and assessed the damage. Using specialist tile and stone cleaning products, a rotary machine, and a wet vacuum, we were able to deep clean the tiles, removing the stubborn grout haze and restoring the surface.

To finish, we applied a premium colour-enhancing impregnating sealer, which:

Restored the tiles to their original appearance
Protected them against everyday stains and dirt
Made future maintenance easier
